Most people in America do not have enough money in savings to address a $500 emergency.  In other words, if their transmission goes out or the refrigerator breaks or the baby needs formula and the cost is $500 or more, most people don’t have enough money to address any of these situations.  Also, people are typically in a similar position to the people that they associate with most often.  We understand that desperate situations occur and we’d like to help by providing a mainstream, non-predatory, way to address your financial anxiety.
